4 Advises to make fragrance last longer



People want to apply their fragrances in the way that they never end up. If they really want to do this then just going through a cloud of perfume is not adequate. There several do’s and do not for making your perfume or fragrance last longer.

There are some instructions and tips by some experts how to make your scent last longer.

  1. Best time to apply fragrance

If you want to make your fragrance last longer, then it is compulsory to use it after moisturizing your skin. Softly dehydrate your skin later than a bath, use lotion and spray the perfume of your choice. The moisturizer is used as a base to grasp the cologne.

  1. Use matching shower gels and body lotions

You can also apply the similar smelling shower gel or body lotion to make your smell last longer. An expert has suggested that ‘Using the shower gel, soap, shampoo, etc of your favorite fragrance will help make your fragrance last all day long! If you don’t have the matching lotions offered with your scent, try applying Vaseline or a non-scented moisturizer to your pulse points before you apply your fragrance,”

  1. Avoid rubbing your wrists together

It is better to shun the practice of rubbing wrists simultaneously. The expert illustrates that “You ‘break up’ the top notes, which are the lightest,”

  1. Try the hairbrush trick

Spray a little fragrance onto a brush and pat it by your hair for a lasting impression. The expert advices as, ‘Fragrance sprayed directly onto your hair may cause [your hair] to dry out,”
