Azad Kashmir is the heaven on earth and has many well-known picnic places in Pakistan. Each year thousands tourists from Pakistan and different countries come to Azad Kashmir to practice the natural beauty of thriving green mountains, loud rivers, captivating streams, wide forests, elevated altitude lakes, sky touching snow clad peaks and extensive glaciers both in Summer and winter. Here are some of the renowned picnic spots to visit in Pakistani administrated Azad Kashmir.

Banjosa Lake

Banjosa Lake is situated close to Rawalakot in Azad Kashmir. A mock lake at an altitude of 1981 meters, a synthetic territory as of its stunning and astonishing sights and wonderful garden, is much eminent tourist place with vigorous trees and multicolored flowers. Neelum Valley

Leepa valley

It is included in the much attractive valleys in Azad Kashmir. A good-weather road branch off for Leepa from Naile, 45 kilometers from Muzaffarabad, ascends above Reshian Gali 3200 meters elevated and then goes down to 1677 meters on the further side into the Leepa Valley. It spells hops everyone who visits this valley. Summer is much pleasing whereas winter gets grave snowfalls, as the effect valley continually open for travelers just from May to October.
