8 Favorite European cities



An online poll was organized to know the high ranked cities in the Europe and voters have crowned the city of Zadar, Croatia the best city to visit in Europe this year, because of its seaside site, ancient Roman ruins, and dramatic coastline.

Here is the list of top 10 destinations in Europe which are made up of slight, quieter and sun-soaked destinations, a lot of which are barely domestic names.

It took more than three weeks where the public was called to cast their option in an online poll on the greatest destinations in Europe. Voters from 179 countries cast approximately 289,000 votes.

Athens, Greece:

This is the capital of modern Greece, it still takes over by 5th century BCE milestones, involving the Acropolis, a hilltop fort-crowned with ancient buildings, for example, the colonnaded Parthenon temple.

Kotor, Montenegro:

It is a coastal town in Montenegro situated in an isolated side of the Gulf of Kotor.

Azores, Portugal:

Azores islands is an independent region of Portugal, form an archipelago in the mid-Atlantic and are featured by striking sceneries, fishing villages, green pastures and hedgerows of blue hydrangeas.

Brussels, Belgium:

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the headquarters of the European Union are here. The flamboyant Grand-Place at the heart of the city has shops and cafes within 17th-century guild houses and the complicated Gothic Hôtel de Ville (town hall) with its unique bell tower.

Novi Sad, Serbia:

Novi Sad is a metropolis in Serbia on the coats of the Danube River. Atop a waterside bluff stands Petrovaradin Fortress, a lot of it 17th and 18th centuries old, by an iconic clock tower and a system of channels.

Milan, Italy:

Milan, a city in Italy’s northern Lombardy area, is an international capital of chic and design. Headquarters of national stock exchange are here and it’s an economic core also recognized for its high-end banquet and shopping.

Nantes, France:

Nantes, a metropolis on the Loire River in the Upper Brittany area of Western France with a lengthy past as a port and industrial hub. It’s headquartering to the repair, 15th-century Château des Ducs de Bretagne, where the Dukes of Brittany formerly resided.

Paris, France:

The capital of France, Paris, is a most important European metropolis and an international hub for art, chic, food and culture. Its scenic 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by extensive avenues and the River Seine.
