Aamir comments on Salman’s ‘raped woman’ comment

Whereas numerous Bollywood actors — involving superstar Shah Rukh Khan — has keep aloof for talking on Salman Khan’s ‘raped woman’ comment, while Aamir Khan has to a certain extent boldly spoke up on the controversy, stating Salman’s remark ‘insensitive’.

Bollywood actor director and producer Aamir was present at the poster launch of his upcoming film Dangal and Aamir was inquired regarding Salman’s comment which provoked a hornet’s nest, on which he told that “I feel…. I was not present there… (But) going by the media reports, what he has said is rather unfortunate or rather insensitive.”

Then it was inquired that if he spoke to his Andaaz Apna Apna co-actor or gave him any advice, the 51 year old actor further added that “No I didn’t speak to him. And who am I to give him advice.” Through his career in Hindi films, Khan has established himself as one of the most popular and influential actors of Indian cinema.

The 50 year old Indian film actor, producer and television personality Salman Khan courted controversy later than he stated during a media interaction that he practiced so hard for his imminent movie Sultan that when he used to walk afterwards he would feel like a “raped woman”. He afterward stated that “I don’t think I should have [said that].”

His comment stirred up the controversy because several people don’t like these words. The National Commission for Women (NCW) and the Shiv Sena even claimed for a public apology from Salman. He sent in a letter to NCW through his lawyer but the organization stated that it was not an apology.

Now NCW has summoned the hit movie Bajrangi Bhaijan’s leading actor on 8 July.
