Actor in Law Janaan, ZKHH, Maalik are doing well

Three Pakistani movies Actor in LawJanaan and Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay have resealed on this Eidul Azha and getting the mixed response. By the end of their first week, all three movies hold their original spots with Actor in Law still leading the race, having grossed over Rs110 million. The film by Nabeel Qureshi is getting praise from all sides. Urdu 1 Marketing Manager Sajjad Haider said, “Actor in Law is doing great business because it has great content and visuals rivaling any Indian film. In some cases, it is better than that even!”

Janaan’s collections are not yet confirmed but it is estimated that it has grossed about Rs39.2 million over the three-day Eid holidays. The movie’s overall global collection so far has been Rs130 million whereas the absolute figures from the local box office are anticipated to be in by Friday.

Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay’s total figures have not yet been put together for it either. Though, what is obvious is that the Anjum Shahzad directorial is yet in third place. Exhibitors told that the movie has done comparatively less business, as contrasted to the further two movies.

Furthermore, Ashir Azeem’s Maalik is performing well too, regardless of the least amount of shows presented to it. Perchance all the hullabaloo it found itself in has worked out for the best, portrayal in crowds who desire to witness what the hum was about. Atrium Cinemas Managing Director Nadeem Mandviwalla stated Maalik has been performing actually well. He told “We have given it only one show in the afternoon but still, it’s getting about 50% to 60% occupancy,”

Mandviwalla restated that Actor in Law had a standard tenure of 95% to 97%, Janaan with 89% to 92% and Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay with 85%. He told “The shows were all sold out over the weekend. The attendance slightly dropped yesterday but regardless, the films are doing great business.”

Mandviwalla continued by saying that “Until now, it was the holiday season. But now comes a crucial time to see which film manages to stay on top.” Khorem Gultasab who is the Super Cinemas General Manager stated his responses and told, “This week is going to reveal how much these films are actually worth.”
