The American’s epic science fiction movie, which was directed, written, produced, and co-edited by James Cameron, is going to return with new grace, so get ready for Pandora with all its mythical blue creatures. James Cameron has recently proclaimed four sequels to his globally box office hit Avatar.
Earlier Cameron was planning for two sequels for the fancy science-fiction movie, but later than discussing with screenwriters, he made decision that there was a lot of stuff to cover in only two movies. It was reported that Cameron was stating that later than meeting with a team of four screenwriters and a group of “some of the top artists and designers in the world,” he extended his plan to four sequels.
Cameron further added that “So far, what I am seeing in pure imagination is far beyond the first film,” Cameron continued by saying that only a few people have witnessed the early concepts, but a select only some have been left “speechless” by what they witnessed.
Cameron further stated that “We have decided to embark on a truly massive cinematic project, making four epic films, each of which stands alone but together forms a complete saga,”
The cast of the movie was included Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver. The development of Avatar was begun in 1994, when Cameron wrote an 80-page treatment for the movie.
The further three movies will be released at Christmas-time in 2020, 2022 and 2023. Cameron added that “That is our game plan,”
Cameron later than his movie True Lies (1994) took on his greatest movie at the time, Titanic (1997), which grossed him Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director and Film Editing.
It was further reported about Cameron saying, “The next time I see you will be on Pandora,”
The initial sequel is going to hit theaters in 2018.
