Best Ways To Remove Underarm Hair


Underarm Hair Removal

There are various ways to remove unwanted body hair or to reduce its growth. However, there are some effective and easy home remedies through which you can remove underarm hair naturally without any problem.

  • Sugaring

This is one of the most effective way of removing underarm hair.


  • 2 cups cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  •  1/4 cup lemon juice.

Method of preparation 

  • Mix all the ingredients over low heat in a heavy bottomed saucepan.
  • Once it comes to a boil, simmer and let it process on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • At the end of it, it turns a nice wine red-brown color.
  • At this point, turn off the heat.
  • Let it cool and store it in an airtight container.

Method to apply

  • Prepare your skin by cleaning it with a wet cloth and dusting baby powder on it.
  • To use the sugaring mixture, take a scoop out with your fingers.
  • Roll it and press on your underarms, in the “opposite” direction of hair growth.
  • Firmly press it on the skin. Now raise your arms so that the skin on which you are working so that it is stretched.
  • With your fingers, pull off the sugaring solution in the “same” direction as hair growth.
  • Finally, rinse the area with soap and water.


  • Chickpea flour mask

Chickpea flour mask can work wonderfully in the process of removing unwanted hair from underarms of individuals.


  • ½ bowl of chickpea flour
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • ½ bowl of milk and 1 teaspoon of fresh cream

Method of preparation 

  • Combine all these in a bowl
  • Make a smooth paste out of it.

Method to apply

  • Apply the paste under your arm in the direction in which hair is grown.
  • It is important to ensure that the paste covers the hair lying underarm.
  • Now, you need to leave this for half an hour and then rub the paste in an opposite direction.
  • After removing the paste by hand, you can wash it with warm water.
