Bollywood actors who risked their lives for films


It’s no cakewalk to be a celebrity and this holds true not just because of the rumours and link-ups they get tagged to but also for the risk stars take to entertain us.

While we enjoy watching heroic stunts onscreen, little do we realize the effort and risk that has gone into performing the act.

From jumping across towers to fighting with knives and swords, these celebrities have been there, done that and have also been hurt.

Here’s a list of actors who risked their lives for films.


Alia Bhatt Alia was seen walking around with crutches, after she calf ligament tear, while she was shooting for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. However, that did not deter the actress from taking part in the film’s promotions


Arjun Kapoor Arjun suffered from a disc prolapse while he was shooting for Tevar. Apparently the actor had a back injury while he was shooting action scenes in Gundaay, but he ignored it and went on to shoot for his next flick Finding Fanny. And finally while he was shooting for Tevar, he suffered a severe disc prolapse


Katrina Kaif In her recent movie Fitoor, the actress had to ride on a horse for a particular scene. She lost balance during the shoot and fell down, injuring her neck and back.


Ranveer Singh Ranveer fell off from a horse and injured his shoulder while shooting for Bajirao Mastani. Not just that, the actor even had to undergo a surgery to get it fixed.


Shraddha Kapoor Shraddha’s dance flick ABCD 2, demanded a lot of stressful moves. For the poster, the actress had to arch her back and ended up having a muscle pull after which she was advised two weeks of bed rest.


Shahrukh Khan SRK injured his leg while he was shooting in Croatia for his upcoming film Fan. The actor had to jump and chase a guy on street and in the process he hurt his leg and was even seen limping in Mumbai airport, once he landed.
