Bollywood needs handsome native heroes: Soha Khan



The younger sister of Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan believes that contemporary collection of actors in Bollywood is not as good looking as those of previous years.

She stated that Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, who is going to become 50 on December 27 still ‘handsome’ and ‘unique’ actor in the film industry.

She stated that “I have always loved watching Salman Khan’s movies. While Maine Pyar Kiya was his first movie I saw whereas growing up and I thought ‘he is a handsome Indian actor’. Even today, years later, he is just as handsome and I think he is unique and special”


The 37-year-old actress, while has also acted in Bengali and English-language movies.  She further added that “We need more handsome Indian male actors. There are very few,” The actress next will be appeared opposite Bollywood megastar Sunny Deol in Ghayal Once Again.

It was inquired regarding her own brother, she answered as, “He is, of course, very handsome. My most favorite role of his is Langda Tyagi in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara.” This was an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Othello” and released in 2006.

She further said that Saif grouping up once more with director Vishal for Rangoon “is somewhat that is much thrilling for all of us”. It’s an imminent Hindi period romance drama movie produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

The cast of Rangoon also includes Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor. Esha Gupta has been finalized to do an item number with Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor.

Soha Ali has married Kunal Khemu in 2015.
