Calgary International Auto & Truck show 2016 rolled into Calgary BMO Centre on Wednesday March 9th and finishes on Sunday, March 13th. This year the expo attracted hundreds and thousands of people into BMO Centre as car enthusiasts looked to see what auto mobile companies are bringing in new this year.

This was the expo’s 36th year and every year the expo’s gaining more popularity each year with the public coming and inquiring about all the latest cars and technologies they have to offer. This year was no exception. Subaru came up with a new technology they call the “Eye Sight Driver Assist Technology”

Usman Cokar is a Geomatics Engineer and long time car enthusiast, when he was asked about Subaru’s latest technology he said:

The Eye Sight driver assist technology is definitely something to take notice of. It is unique because while other safety technologies in cars are using sensors, Subaru is using dual cameras. It will keep drivers safe on the road

Subaru says there is four different types of preventative systems; Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-collision Braking, Pre-collision throttle management,  lane departure and sway warning.
