Colombia stuns Brazil & Neymar, Aguero puts Argentina back on track

CHILE: The young Colombian team stunned the five time World Champions Brazil by defeating them 1-0 and sending their superstar Neymar out of the field by showing him the red card in the ending moments of the match.

Barcelona’s wonder-boy Neymar will not be able to play Brazil’s next ‘Group C’ match against Venezuela, both the teams last time met in the last year’s FIFA World Cup quarter-finals where Brazil knocked out Colombia 2-1 in front of their home crowd.

In the Copa America face-off the match was decided in the 36th minute of the game when Colombia’s defensive midfielder scored the only goal of the match to seal the victory over their rivals.

After a disappointing start to their campaign the two time World Champions and last year’s FIFA World Cup runner’s up Argentina leveled their match with Parguay 2-2, finally secured a win in the Copa America over their long lasting arch-rivals Uruguay by 1-0. Thanks to Manchester City’s striker Sergio Aguero who scored the winner with a header in the 56th minute of the game.
