Donald Trump officially declares to run for U.S. Presidency in 2016225 views
United States biggest real estate mogul and business man, Donald Trump officially declared today that he will be running for President of the United States in 2016. He is going after the Republican party nomination and quite frankly it will be very tough for him to win it. Donald Trump said in his speech this:
“So, ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again,” also adding that “Sadly the American dream is dead,” Trump said at the end of his speech. “But if I get elected president I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before.”
A recent poll was taken where as more than half of Republicans said they had a negative view of him — a tough spot to start a campaign. Most U.S. citizens see Mr.Trump more of a reality star now than a businessman. Another reason for it will be tough for him is the fact that Mr. Trump for the past two decades has been toying with the American voters saying that this year he will run, or next time, or next time — first in 1987, then 1999 and again in 2004, 2008 and most recently in 2011 — have left voters eye-rolling and just not caring for whatever Mr. Trump says.
One of his best moments was when he questioned if President Obama was a born U.S. citizen and demanded to see his birth records! After that, he got into hot water when he stated back a few years ago that there is a “Muslim problem” and that the U.S. is doing a great job in fighting the terrorists and giving into every demand they ask. Mr. Trump was asked about his idea of the “Muslim problem”, he had this to say in a interview back in 2011.
Mr. Trump said in his announcement that he wants to make “America great again”, in fact his slogan for the Presidency is “Make America Great Again”. Mr. Trump claims that the U.S. is not seen as this powerful nation as it use to be and needs to step up to the plate. He hopes to bring back job opportunities and strengthening the economy also he added that “no one would be tougher on ISIS than Trump,” he’s referring to himself.
