ECP Assures Imran of ‘No Irregularity’ in By Polls


ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has met Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza Khan and conversed over its shortcomings in previous elections and vigilant role in the upcoming by-polls of NA-122, NA-154.

CEC has assured PTI Chief that ECP would not repeat the same incompetence that caused irregularities in the previous elections of 2013.

Imran In ECPImran Khan also reiterated his protest call in front of ECP office on 4th October despite the appeal of CEC for its withdrawal.

The PTI Chairman has also asked for army supervision for holding free and fair by elections in the both constituencies.

Referring to the letter he wrote to CEC, Imran Khan said that he is satisfied that Sardar Raza Khan is already working on the suggestions given in the light of Judicial Commission’s findings.

PTI leaders Jahangir Khan Tareen, Asad Umar and Naeem-ul-Haque were also alongside Imran Khan during the meeting.
