England opt to bat against Afghanistan in World T20.


NEW DELHI: England won the toss and opted to bat first against Afghanistan in their World Twenty20 match at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday.

England have brought in James Vince in place of injured opener Alex Hales, while fast bowler Reece Topley makes way for Liam Plunkett.

Afghanistan, who have to win to have any chance of advancing in the competition, have made just one change from Sunday’s defeat against South Africa, bringing in Shafiqullah in place of Dawlat Zadran.
