Fawad and Katrina sets to share screen

The Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan is getting higher and higher. The 34-year-old actor has recently completed the most awaited movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which is featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. After its completion, there were rumors that Fawad has signed a Dharma Productions film alongside Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif. Now the Indian media has confirmed the news that Fawad is set to share screen space with Katrina Kaif in Karan Johar’s next project.

There is little doubt that Fawad Khan is a cross-border, hysteria-inducing one-of-a-kind phenomenon. Fawad has shared screen alongside Bollywood eminent actors such as Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt.

The imminent Dharma-Fox movie is named Raat Baaki. In addition, the Kapoor and Sons actor has as well signed a megastar Salman Khan movie with Nitin Kakkar.

Nitin affirmed the news by saying that “We go on floors with Fawad sometime next year. He is locked in. We are currently in the process of getting an actress on board.”

The shooting of the film will start next year depending on Fawad’s availability. Nitin further added by saying that “This is an urbane love story, but more than that, it’s an interesting take on a relationship between a boy and a girl,”

The movie will be directed by debutant Aditya Dhar who is also a lyricist. It would be essentially a musical love story and the director who has knowledge about music has already started work on compositions. The movie is expected to go on floors in November this year after Fawad gets free from his paternal duties and will hit the screens in the first half of 2017. Though these are all speculations, we are still waiting for an official announcement from either the stars or the production house.

Fawad Afzal Khan is a Pakistani actor and singer. As a singer, he was one of the members of the band Entity Paradigm, an alternative rock band based in Lahore. Their debut album Irtiqa was released in 2003, but the band was dissolved in 2007.
