Federal govt decides to change Sindh police IG


ISLAMABAD: Federal government has decided to appoint A D Khawaja as new Sindh police Inspector General to replace Ghulam Haider Jamali.

According to our correspondent, the Sindh government had sent to the federal government three names for the office. The federal government has chosen name of A D Khawaja.

Jamali has been facing several charges including corruption in police investigation funds and illegal appointments in the department.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would give final approval to Khawaja’s appointment after his return from Saudi Arabia.
