Film Zeher-e-Ishq based on Rumi’s theme of love700 views
Currently Pakistani film industry is expanding and innovative movies are under production and some has been released. Before now the entertainment industry was all about television and dramas. A press conference was held by Hum TV in a hotel, where Sultana Siddiqui of Hum TV channel and Hum Films stated that if someone has an innovative idea regarding the film but he/she is lacking budget and resources then can contact us. She expressed it at imminent cinematic venture titled Zeher-e-Ishq on Wednesday.
The cast of the film includes both Pakistani and Turkish actors and its shooting will begin in mid-December. It was revealed by the director of the film, Khalid Khan, at the press conference
Director Khalid Khan told that “The film is based on the Maulana Rumi’s teachings and its central theme is love”. The director is famous for his TV buffs for his drama like Sookhay Pattay, Anokha Bandhan and Bhar Day Jholi.
“The cast involves Pakistani and Turkish actors and its shooting will start in mid-December and the period will end in March. It is being shot in Urdu but will be dubbed in Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Russian,” told the director.
He additional revealed that the movie Zeher-e-Ishq would be dubbed in different languages because there are many people who like Maulana Rumi. On the question about the cast, his reply was “it would be a big, pleasant surprise”. When inquired regarding the rough budget, he was unwilling to reveal the number but did tell that he and his wife were funding the film.
The Turkish Consul General in Karachi, Murat Onart, was also there at the press conference and told that his government was pleased to give all the assistance needed by the director. The director gave details how the Turkish government had helped his team in locations and sets.
The songs of the movie have been accomplished and the composer of them is Waqar Ali Khan, he is famous who in the television industry for composing songs for many serials. The list of singers included Sajjad Ali, Rahat Fateh Ali, Sunidhi Chauhan, Palak Muchhal of Aashiqui 2 and Mohammad Irfan Ali of Ek Villain. There are seven songs in the movie which are written by Ali Moeen and Sabir Zafar, the music composer named it as a musical film.
The script writer who is experienced in TV, Mohammad Asif, and Mirza Mehmood will be doing the cinematography.
Badar Ikram who is VP of Hum Films told that “We were media partners for Na Maloom Afraad which was extremely triumphant, and Bin Roye, which was our production, was released in 22 countries including Fiji.”
