Gigi Hadid humiliated for saying Zayan half Middle Eastern

Top American model GIGI Hadid has come under fire from fans later than putting boyfriend Zayn Malik’s background wrong.

The supermodel committed the mistake when she was giving an interview to the Gulf news which was conducted on her latest visit to Dubai, the reports have revealed.

Gigi, who is a Palestinian-American and Dutch descent, has stated to the newspapers, “When someone comes up to me and they tell me, ‘I’m Palestinian’ and we make a connection, it’s beautiful.

She further continued by saying that “My boyfriend is also half Middle Eastern. It’s just a connection that you make that’s really cool. It’s hard to explain but you feel like you’re among [your] people.”

Fans were rapid to indicate the mistake on social media because of the reality Zayn’s father is a British Pakistani whereas his mother is British with Irish heritage.

The Middle East is contained of Western Asia and Egypt, whereas Pakistan is located in Southern Asia.

Fans of Zayn collected to Twitter to ridicule the model’s mistake as one wrote: “Gigi Hadid said Zayn was half Middle Eastern. GURL (sic) PAKISTAN IS A SOUTH ASIAN COUNTRY. LEARN YA GEOGRAPHY”.

One more comment added that “Just to let you know Zayn is Pakistani, which is in South Asia. Just in case you didn’t read his profile appropriately prior to signing.”

One fan also continued that “GiGiHadid thinks Pakistan is in the Middle East that’s why education is important people!”

The 21 year old Gigi, whose real name is Jelena Noura Hadid, connected with Zayn later than his divide with ex-fiancee and Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.

They have been an item since the start of the year although are stated to have temporarily divide this summer.

Zayn then disclosed that he had leaved the UK to move to the States thus he could be nearer to Gigi.
