Govt promises of no power cut in Sehar, Iftar


LAHORE: Government of Pakistan has again promised to public that there will be no power cut in Sehar and Iftar time during the upcoming month of Ramadan.

State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali announced this good news for public while talking to the media in head office of LESCO (Lahore Electric Supply Company).

RLSHowever, he clarified that cities will face 6 to 8 hours load-shedding and rural areas to bear this problem for 8 to 10 hours daily.

The minister also warned the electricity consumers that if they won’t pay the bill, there electricity connections will be disconnected.

Abid Sher Ali told that LESCO is going to launch a new system that will facilitate consumers on over billing complaints. by this system, before the bill is issued, consumers will receive a message on mobile of their meter reading every month and it will also assist to identify the corrupt meter readers.
