It’s good that by the growing showbiz the economy of Pakistan is thought to be surplus.  New and innovative projects are going to lunch and big industries are showing their concerns.

Recently Indian producer Rakesh Upadhyay visited Pakistan and met to the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Kahn.  The producer who has titles like Khiladi 786 to his credit, he wants to make a biographical film on him. The producer recently met with Khan at his Bani Gala home to seek permission for the biopic.

Babar Sheikh, who is Managing Partner of Tiger Entertainment, is producing an upcoming movie, which is a romantic comedy film with the collaboration of Imran Khan’s wife Reham Khan. According to Babar Sheikh, Imran Khan has given Upadhyay authorization to make the film, so long as it is based on his personal life only.

Babar Sheikh clarified his statement as “I’d like to clarify that I am not producing any movie with Reham Khan. Although I do want to work in Pakistani film industry in near future.”

He stated his experiences in Pakistan as:

“It was nice visiting Pakistan, the people here are wonderful and I was here to seek approval from Imran Khan to make a biopic on him. The idea to make a film on an international level is that Imran Khan is a global icon.” He said that he wants to visit Pakistan again.
