Hamza Ali Abbasi questioned about Ahmadis


Like always Pakistani heartthrob Hamza Ali Abbasi has come with a new, important and controversial question. Practice makes perfect. Later than a lot of social media posts that just got the rage of countless, Hamza has at last done something lots of in his state wouldn’t dare to — inquired the oppression of Ahmadis.

Pakistani theater, film, and television actor, model, and director and social activist inquired about the oppression of Ahmadis on national TV. Disclosing that he will talk about the Ahmadi community and blasphemy laws at the end of Ramazan in much depth, Hamza discussed the government’s participation in deciding who Muslim is, and who isn’t.

The Jawani Phir Nahi Aani luminary elaborated that he has spoken in favor of Ahmadis in the previous time; directing to people considering that he is Ahmadi.

But the actor who is recognized for his role as Afzal in drama serial Pyarey Afzal and Azam in drama serial Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley, disclosed that “The community is being suppressed but if you talk about it, people say ‘You are from that community that is why you are saying this,’”

He moreover explained that “I am not an Ahmadi, I am a Sunni Muslim.”

The 29-year-old young Political activist Jibran Nasir took to Facebook to give a round of applause Hamza for beginning a debate “on this topic which is violating fundamental rights of hundreds of thousands of Pakistani Ahmadis.”


Sadqay Tumhare actor Adnan Malik too took to Facebook to praise Hamza’s endeavors.

Adnan, Pakistan’s television actor, model, documentary filmmaker, video and music video producer, commercial and music video director, Visual storyteller and former VJ, stated that “Well done Hamza Ali Abbasi! Tackling very important issues during Ramazan! (Unlike other shows that are rewarding greed and competition),”

It is not the initial time when the actor has discussed the issue. Hamza took to the Facebook previous year to defend the oppressed community.
