Hamza thanked Taliban for releasing Shahbaz Taseer

The Pakistani heartthrob, Hamza Ali Abbasi, who is Pakistani theater, film and television actor, model and director, has recently posted a message on Facebook. The actor, who is best known for his role as Afzal in drama serial Pyarey Afzal and Azam in drama serial Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley, is very vocal about every issue. This time, the vocal actor has voiced his gratefulness to the Afghan Taliban. Yeah, it is very astonishing.

Though the message posted on Facebook began properly with Hamza lauding Shahbaz Taseer’s valor for surviving years of imprisonment, things went south rather speedy when he, strangely, finish up thanking the “legit Afghan Taliban fighting the imperialist US occupation of Afghanistan.”

Hamza Ali Abbasi wrote that “Few have the courage that Shahbaz Taseer has shown and may he finally live his life in peace. It turns out that he escaped from his ISIS backed Uzbek captors in Zabul, Afghanistan in an attack by the Haqqani faction of Afghan Taliban who later found Shahbaz Taseer there and safely transported him to Kuchlak, Quetta,”

He then went on to warn about the people who, in his view, could not make a distinction amid “NDS/RAW funded Khariji Terrorists of TTP and the legit Afghan Taliban,”

He further added that “While disagreeing with their interpretation of religion, Afghan Taliban are not enemies Pakistan. So to all those who refuse to distinguish between NDS/RAW funded Khariji Terrorists of TTP and the legit Afghan Taliban fighting the imperialist US occupation of Afghanistan, I guess we should say……Thank you Afghan Taliban.”

All the people who read his post did not have the same opinion like him. In reality, Hamza got rather a bashing on social media for his comments.
