Here’s how Bigg Boss contestant Priya Malik silenced a body shamer on Twitter434 views
That Priya Malik is a feisty lady is not news to anyone who has been following her since Big Brother days. The former Bigg Boss 9 contestant once again proved just that.
Recently, someone rubbed her the wrong way on Twitter and the firebrand celebrity gave a piece of her mind without mincing words.
Someone tried to body shame the former Big Brother Australia contestant on Twitter for her newly acquired slimmer avatar.
Priya recently surprised everyone with her brand new look as she hosted a cricket show on a news channel. While everyone loved the new look, this person wasn’t impressed.
“Either this is really badly photoshopped or you have lost insane amount of weight. Either way, it is not flattering. It sends a message that the girl who always wanted to be real (not pretend) on BB9 has turned plastic. Hope to see the real you very soon, I like it a lot”. (sic)
Priya wasted no time in hitting back.
“Thank You for body shaming me. I don’t think my weight or the loss of it contributes to real or plastic. For anything, I’d not measure someone’s realness by their body mass. You’re more than welcome to do that,” Priya replied.
The Bigg Boss 9 contestant posted the conversation on Twitter with the caption: “Wake me up when women stop judging other women’s worth by their body mass, we can deal with what the men think later. Skinny shaming to oppose fat shaming is still #BodyShaming.”
“If you feel validated by the digits on my weight scale, I can hit you on your head with one,” Priya said in another cryptic tweet.
