Eminent Bollywood music composer of the 1980s and 1990s, Bappi Lahiri, is always ready to work with the foreign musicians and singers across borders as he proclaims his subsequent collaboration with highly praised international artists.
It is reported that the hit composer of Jimmy Jimmy recently exposed in an interview that he is going to work alongside American rappers Snoop Dogg and Akon. Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr is best known as Snoop Dogg who is an American rapper and actor from Long Beach, California and Akon is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, businessman, and record producer.
The Bollywood music composer and singer revealed the details of his imminent project. He stated it as, “I have already worked with one of the top rappers in America, MC Hammer for song Will to Live. Now, I will be working with American rapper Snoop Dogg,”
He further added that “Akon, songwriter and rapper, will also be singing with me. So, I am trying to make a melody for rap,”
The 63-year-old singer was sharing his opinion on the mounting drift of rap music in India, he further exposed that Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh are his favorite Indian rappers. He also thinks that both the rappers, who are also a well known singer, have the capacity to make a mark in the international world.
It is not the initial point when Snoop and Akon are going to venture into Indian entertainment industry. The previous one was seen in 2008 in an Indian avatar in the title track of Singh is Kinng. He further displayed off his bhangra moves whereas sporting a customary turban alongside Bollywood’s superstar and stuntman Akshay Kumar.
