Is 3 Idiots making its sequel?



If you liked to watch 2009 Indian comedy-drama movie, 3 Idiots then be ready for its sequel. Yes, Bollywood superstar Amir Khan has given some clues for that. At the 10-year celebration of Rang De Basanti in Mumbai, Aamir Khan hinted that a sequel to the Rajkumar Hirani-directed movie may be in the works.

The movie was about three friends, Aamir Khan as Ranchodas ‘Rancho’ Shamaldas Chanchad, R Madhavan as Farhan Qureshi and Sharman Joshi as Raju Rastogi, who navigate by a variety of personal trials in the course of getting their college engineering degree. 3 Idiots were the second movie of the three actors jointly later than Rang De Basanti, and they are working on third, hinted by Aamir Khan. The movie was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Abhijat Joshi wrote the screenplay. The cast also including  Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani.

The star from hit PK was saying that “I hope to make a hattrick of films with Madhavan and Sharman after RDB and 3 Idiots. Raju Hirani has told me that he has an idea for 3 idiots sequel. So let’s hope for the best,”

The unique comedy-drama movie was slackly based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel Five Point Someone, so it has to be seen that whether the continuation will have an original screenplay.

As Aamir khan shares that “Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) some time ago mentioned that he has found a story for 3 Idiots (sequel), so maybe we will reunite soon.” He further states that “Don’t make it as breaking news,”

Director Hirani has also before told that the continuation “will take some time”.
