It took enough years to come back in Bollywood. The tulip of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is again in a flick. The movie Jazbaa which is directed by Sanjay Gupta is an Indian thriller-drama film with some action and adventure. Like many other films Jazbaa appears to be captured from foreign screens. As Kaante was a remake of Reservoir Dogs, Musafir of U Turn, Zinda lifted from Old boy. Jazbaa is that rare thing in Gupta’s filmography. It is inspired by Korean hit Seven Days which was made in 2007. It was South Korean crime thriller film directed by Won Shin, starring Yunjin Kim and Park Hee-Soon.
The story is about a lawyer, who is forced to defend a rapist and murderer on the orders of a baffling man who has kidnapped her daughter. Then she, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Amerada tries to get help from her suspended police friend Yohan as Irfan Khan who has been suspended from the police force for pompous the rules and set of laws too often. The movie is full of thrill like many Korean crime thrillers. The music and jittery camerawork create a sense of tension that is not always backed up by the writing.The cast includes Shabana Azmi as Garima, Sia’s Mother, Chandan Roy as Miyaaz Shaikh, Jackie Shroff as Home Minister Mahesh Maklai.
The movie is almost 122 minutes duration in which the characters remain truthful but hazardously commence a love angle between Anuradha and Yohaan which was not in Korean film. How Indian man can help a woman who is not his wife, sister or mother unless he wants in return. Mother Amerada moans for daughter Sanaya in a sequence destined which is the most favorite part of the favorite satire artists. Upon spotting her daughter being driven away by the kidnapper, Anuradha runs towards the vehicle when her daughter was being kidnapped by kidnapper. She falls to the ground, and claws the dirt in despair, all in slow motion and washed in swamp-green tones.
