The country’s well-known news channel Express News aired the news in which the reporter can be seen laying in the grave and reporting about the ceremony.

Abdul Sattar Edhi, who set up one of Pakistan’s biggest welfare organisations, Edhi Foundation, was revered as a “living saint” by many. He died in a hospital in Pakistan on Friday. His foundation runs a vast fleet of ambulances, orphanages and medical clinics across the country. The foundation has provided relief in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Iran, Sri Lanka, Croatia, Indonesia and in the United States after Hurricane Katrina.
The image of the reporter holding a mic, laying in Edhi’s grave, has gone viral on the social media and has gathered huge flak. People have called the act ‘shameful’ and have bashed the news channel for such reporting tactic.
