English musician, singer, and songwriter, Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister, had died at the age of 70. He was the founder and the front man of British rock band Motörhead. It is revealed on its Facebook page that recently the singer was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer.

With his brand moles structured by dark muttonchops, the bassist and vocalist cut an inimitable number on stage as he craned his neck to the microphone, growling out hit tracks such as Ace of Spades with a throat he told he fed for years with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey a day. “The thing about hangovers is, you have to stop to get one,” Lemmy liked to state.

A tarnished amphetamine user, one time he was asserted to have continued for two weeks non-stop, but the stiff living ultimately took its toll and he confronted with his health in latest years.

The rock band called off their European summer festival performances in 2013 later than he allegedly experienced a hematoma, the rock singer told in an interview in 2014 that he had gravely decreased on his drinking and smoking.

The band Motörhead stated in Facebook post regarding Lemmy’s death, “We cannot begin to express our shock and sadness, there aren’t words,” further stated, “We will say more in the coming days, but for now, please … play Motörhead loud, play Hawkwind loud, play Lemmy’s music LOUD. Have a drink or few.”

In 1945 Lemmy  was born in England and was lived in Los Angeles, US, near the Sunset Strip, for decades and was controversial for his collection of Nazi memorabilia.

The rock band’s classic bond ruined up in 1982. The band Motörhead’s total studio albums were 22.

Ex drummer Taylor died just previous month, getting a typically to the point reaction from his old band mate. Lemmy stated on his death, “He was a real character… a real nutcase. I do admire that in a person,”
