Well known for fashion and style Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor has exposed that a lot of actresses ill-treated her for putting the drift of being chic at occasions.
It was reported that Khubsurat star was talking at the Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards cover release. The gorgeous actress stated that “A lot of actresses are abusing me for it. I remember a very big actress telling me ‘Sonam, why did you do this? You know how much money I am paying my stylist right now?’.”
The leading actress from latest film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo also shared that she cannot speak about the effort for the reason that she generally chic herself. She further added that “I was like I don’t pay my stylist [to dress me for every event], my sister or I just style myself. You just have to be yourself,”
The daughter of veteran actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam also shared that she would relatively be named ‘stylish’ than ‘fashionable’ for the reason that she doesn’t inevitably go after fashion drifts. She was telling as, “Being fashionable and being stylish are two different things. The style is [to be] able to carry whatever you are… I hate it when people call me a fashionista, I’d rather have people call me stylish.”
The gorgeous actress assisted director Sanjay Leela Bhansali with his 2005 drama movie, Black and then made her acting debut in 2007 in Bhansali’s romantic drama, Saawariya. She confessed her persuasion in setting fashion drifts in the film industry and stated as “As movie stars we have such a huge say in how the market is going to be like. Whether it’s the movies, or cricket, we all started dressing up in a certain way and started wearing make-up. We unfortunately or, fortunately, set trends so we have to be very careful in what we do and what we say,”
