From first to the eighth seasons Coke Studio’s female vocal powerhouse has been constant. From Meesha Shafi and Fariha Pervez to Zeb Bangash and Sanam Marvi, all of the women who have appeared on the show have amazed listeners.

A source close to Coke Studio 9 was stated in an interview that “Mehwish [Hayat] has featured in a track alongside Shiraz Uppal with the latter also serving as the producer.”

One more person of the show’s production crew added that “Mehwish has done an impressive job as a singer as she was able to hold her own opposite Shiraz.”

It is not initially that the performer has gone inside the recording studio as she has in the past recorded OSTs and theme songs for many television serials.
