Microsoft planning to establish an Innovation Centre in Peshawar


PESHAWAR: World’s leading IT company Microsoft is planning to establish an innovation centre in Peshawar in collaboration with Provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

MicrosoftAccording to the details, top officials of Information Technology department of KP government met a delegation of Microsoft headed by Country Manager of Microsoft Pakistan Nadeem Ahmad Malik, and this positive news came out after this meeting.

From KP government side, the meeting was chaired by Secretary Science and Technology and IT  Zafar Ali Shah and during this meeting, feasibility of establishing Microsoft Innovation Centre discussed in detail with outlining its objective and focus areas.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board emphasized on the ICT and e governance model for the province whereas venue, intellectual property rights and other options related to the Innovation Centre.
