Mohsin Khan believes team can play well in England196 views
Mohsin Khan, who is the previous Pakistan coach and chief selector, stated on Wednesday that he thinks in Pakistani batsmen’s aptitude to play well in the imminent trip to England.
He was stating in an interview and the 61-year-old continued by saying that Pakistani batsmen have displayed good presentations under English conditions in the earlier period which serves as a motivation for the present performers for their imminent visit.
He stated that “Every batting line-up in the world struggles in England because the ball swings,”
He further added by saying that “However, in the past, batsmen like Majid Khan, Zaheer Abbas, Inzamamul Haq and Aamir Sohail performed tremendously well in England, so it can be done again by our players,”
The previous chief selector stated that the visit of England gives the good chance for youngsters to make their mark and prove themselves very important to the national side.
He said that “This is the time where you have to show guts because performing in England is very difficult,”

He continued by saying that “Any batsman can perform in easy conditions, but the classy ones are those who perform in difficult places,”
Khan moreover admired experienced players like Misbahul Haq and Younus Khan, who have to uphold their fitness levels; though he criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for not discovering good future replacements for the pair.
He said that “Misbah and Younus are fit cricketers, but there aren’t any replacements for them at the moment,”
He continued by saying that “The current management hasn’t introduced any new batsmen who would fit their role in the future,”
Mohsin Khan is extensively eminent for his role as Pakistan’s acting coach in three match whitewash of England in 2012 Test series in UAE. Earlier to it, he was as well assigned as chief selector of the national side in 2010.
