Neil Nitin Mukesh trolled for getting engaged, his reply to it is ‘a silent slap’

A section of the Twitterati trolled newly-engaged Neil Nitin Mukesh, his response to the troll was a killer.

Mumbai: After Neil Nitin Mukesh’s surprise engagement to Mumbai-based Rukmini Sahay came to light, his fans from all parts of the world poured him with good wishes. But some Twitter users used this occasion as a weapon to troll him and this time he used humour to combat the virtual enemies.

Neil Nitin Mukesh wrote: “Needless to say we are laughing at the ones who are trying so hard to be funny …I’m sure you guys wish well too with the “SOH”..”

Neil, who got engaged in a hotel in Juhu in the presence of family and close friends, took to Twitter to thank everyone for the ‘lovely wishes’.

“Thank you all for your lovely wishes. Both Rukmini and I are very happy to see so many good wishes from all of you. Means a lot,” he wrote on Twitter.

Just last week Neil landed in controversy when he revealed in an interview that his mother wishes to be born as his girlfriend in next life. He was reported as saying, “I am the most romantic person probably in the world. I enjoy doing grey characters because in personal life I am totally opposite. My mum once told me that she wants to be born as my girlfriend in the next birth because she sees me how I am, I am extremely expressive and she loves me for that.”

While Neil is ecstatic about his engagement, the ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ star has no plans of moving out of his family house. The couple, who were brought together by Neil’s parents, will tie the knot sometime next year.

The ‘Wazir’ star cannot stop praising his ‘perfect’ bride-to-be. He was reported as saying, “I think she (Rukmini) is just perfect. She is the perfect balance that any man would want in his woman. She is simple, beautiful, loving and all the awesome adjectives I can think of. She fits them all.”

Neil is known for his work in films like ‘David’, ‘Johnny Gaddaar’, ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and ‘New York’.
