The 30-year-old Indian actor, who is the son of film producers Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, believes in constantly working hard and making efforts. While his last some moves including Tevar didn’t create any fireworks at the box-office and he says that he is not fond of giving up. He told that his “constant fear” is giving up on things.
Arjun was saying in an interview that “I have a fear of giving up. I never want to give up. You win or you lose… I don’t ever want to wake up with a thought that I want to give up or I can’t do this anymore. Whatever is that I am attempting, I really don’t want to give up on that,”
The actor made his acting debut with Habib Faisal’s romantic drama Ishaqzaade (2012), for which he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut, and he is presently hosting the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi – Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda. The leading actor from Gunday revealed that “I have fought through a lot of hardships just like all of us have. But I definitely don’t want to wake up and start thinking it’s not worth it or I don’t want to make the effort,”
It was inquired regarding his films’ failure, on which he replied that “You want your movies to work. That’s a very natural emotion. When you do anything, you want it to do well…You hope for the best and prepare for the worst. It’s a part and parcel of any actor’s life. It’s not in my hands. It happened last time. ‘Tevar’ didn’t do well… you deal with it and move on.”
The actor further told that one should try to learn from the mistakes, “You cannot do films and be scared that it will not work. You have to be confident and then if the films don’t do well then you learn from them.”
