Pakistan’s tour to Zimbabwe postponed



LAHORE: Pakistan’s tour to Zimbabwe has been postponed, which was expected to be take place in August-September of this year.

According to the media reports, this decision was mutually taken by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) as they both were failing to find sponsors for the series and rights for broadcasting.

Now the Pakistani team will visit Zimbabwe whenever the time is available, the victory for Greenshirts in a five match ODI series against Sri-Lanka cemented their spot for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in England.

West Indies and Pakistan were in the chase for the last available slot for the Champions Trophy, it looks like the Caribbean team will not qualify for the tournament for the first time in their rich history of cricket.
