PCB will select coach via vote

An important meeting will hold by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) where the matter of appointing the head coach will be put in front of the Board of Governors and they will make a decision through a vote whether the board should appoint a foreign or local coach.

Numerous names have come up for the coaching post which is vacant from the time when Waqar Younis resigned from the post last month.

Many contenders applied and one of them, Englishman Peter Moores, has by now refused the Pakistan Cricket Board’s offer later than engaging himself with his family, whereas previous UAE coach Aaqib Javed has been assigned by Lahore Qalandars.

In the beginning, Australian Tom Moody and Dean Jones were on the candidate’s list but they reversed when they heard about Moores and South African Micky Arthur who became favorites, along with Aaqib.

A PCB official stated in an interview that “The matter of selecting a head coach will be put in front of the BoG members to take their opinion whether to hire a foreign coach or local one,” he further continued by saying that “We want to take everyone’s consent before making a decision on the subject. PCB will also give weight to what Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja suggest.”

The BoG will also be stated regarding what type of business the Pakistan Super League (PSL) did fiscally in its primary edition.

There are some reports as well that the BoG might also get into description the case of PCB searching to machete a few of the dominant workers who have failed to bring and Zakir Khan’s name might converse who has rendered his services as director domestic and international cricket in past.
