PIA crew is grooming by stylist Tariq Amin

Glamour is equally significant to attract and our national carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has approximately for all the time understood this with not leaving any stone unturned.

Recently Pakistan’s top fashion designers Nomi Ansari and Sania Maskatiya gave a fashion makeover to the crew and now the veteran stylist Tariq Amin has roped in to groom the crew with bi-monthly sessions in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad for the next three years.

A press release has revealed that Customer and Premier Service Director Tabassum Qadir has been set with performing a series of grooming makeovers of crew members.

For a crew that states to customers regarding security problems and dietary preferences, they handle to do it happily and their lipstick firmly in place. This picture is not accidental, it is cautiously planned and taught in beauty and image schools to make sure the members gaze perfect always.

Maybe this is what PIA considers Amin will take on board, both factually and metaphorically. He told in an interview, “The make-up has become part of the uniform and is now standardized and approved by all parties. It’s a very classic and understated look. The eyeshadow, lip color and blusher will be consistent throughout – in a neutral palette that would suit everyone.”

The stylist revealed about the looks that will harmonize the uniform, have been designed keeping in mind a variety of age groups that cabin crew members pertinent to. He emphasized that it is a technical job. He said “There is a blue-based light in the aircraft and the make-up has to be done accordingly. The key was to find a neutral color palette that doesn’t change with a blue-based light.”

Amin thinks that backcombing is now an old fashion “A cap has been introduced thus hair will be slick, sleek and classic and there will be a very low off-centre nape bun inspired by Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian. It is significant to pursue modern trends and keep the gaze very modern.”

The men will be groomed later than the women as male grooming is a one-day activity because they do not need make-up and styling. Amin told “It is the whole package – nails, feet, hands, walk, hygiene, body language, smiling,”

Dubai-based transporter Emirates has Clarins on board for all its make-up requirements. Amin told to a local company that houses all brands might quickly be on board for the PIA venture. Amin’s team will as well be accessible to the PIA crew in the three major cities
