PM Nawaz refuses to meet Asif Ali Zardari82 views
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif has refused to meet the former president and co chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Zardari, who had invited him on the luncheon in Zardari House.
Both ministers and few other persons close to PM Nawaz advised him that meeting with Asif Zardari at this time won’t be beneficial for him as former president personally attacked Army Chief and forces in his yesterday’s speech.
It is pertinent to mention that PMLN and PPPP lend their support to each other previously at many crucial times and Prime Minister had also called ex president for help during Dharna days.
Yesterday, addressing to a ceremony staged for FATA senators, Asif Ali Zardari warned that he will expose corruption of Army officials and also said indirectly to COAS, that he is there for three years whereas PPP has a long way to go. He also threatened to bring the whole country to a stand still.
