PMLN Holding Surveys In Lahore to Gauge Its Position in By Polls

Latest News LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) is holding  private surveys to know its prospects in Lahore’s constituencies NA 125 & NA-122 where by polls are going to be held in near future.

The Kooza correspondent, who resides in NA-125, revealed that Government School Teachers and BISE Lahore officials have been assigned this task of conducting door to door survey to know  whom people will vote for if the By polls held in their constituencies.

This private survey is basically aimed at knowing the public’s mood ahead of by polls and to determine if the situation is suitable for the ruling party to go ahead for by polls or not.

As per reports, the same pattern has been adopted for NA-122 and they did not get a better response so ex speaker NA Ayaz Sadiq challenged Election tribunal decision in Supreme Court. Though he did not ask for interim order against by polls scheduled to held in the constituency on October 11, 2015, yet the information coming from there is not favoring him anymore.

In NA-125 , Khawaja Saad Rafique is on stay order regarding Election Tribunal’s verdict of re-poll but PMLN might be facing tough time from rival PTI in both cases.
