Priyanka Chopra won People’s Choice Award



The Bollywood stunning actress Priyanka Chopra, who has ended up 2015 by giving a historic hit Bajirao Mastani, is passionate for 2016 and it seems that this new will be lucky for her as she has just become the first ever South Asian actress to win a People’s Choice Award today.

The former Ms. World and Indian star, who was signed for a lead role in American series Quantico, has won the award for ‘Favorite Actress in a New TV Series’.

She was up against other well-known actors like Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Marcia Gay Harden and Lea Michelle, and able to succeed the award for performing the role of an FBI agent-turned-suspected terrorist, Alex Parrish.

Later than triumph the award she took to Twitter and posted thanks to all of those fans who voted for her.

She posted as:

“I am so fortunate! Thank U to everyone who voted for me at the PCAs! I am nothing without you! Big love”

Previously, she was eating on a burger when she was preparing for the red carpet and posted her picture on tweeter.

Quantico was also nominated for ‘Favorite New Drama’ category but lost to Supergirl.

The People’s Choice Awards is the merely most important award show voted on completely by the public for fan favorites in the amusement industry, from music and television to films.

The 33-year-old lady also presented the award for a favorite action film to Furious 7, beside with performer John Stamos.

Further performers who won the awards were pop stars Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, and Jim Parsons from The Big Bang Theory.

The jai GangaaJal leading actress’s triumph has pressed the People’s Choice Awards, which is not pursued broadly in India, to the top of Twitter drifts in the country.
