PTI Demands NA-122 By Poll To be Held Under Army Supervision131 views
(Latest News LAHORE): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has demanded that NA-122 by polls should be held under Army supervision and in this regard, PTI candidate has submitted an application to the District Returning Officer (DRO).
According to the details, PTI candidate Abdul Aleem Khan has stated in this application that all polling stations in NA-122 are sensitive therefore army personnel should be deployed in and outside every polling station to avoid any unpleasant situation.
It has also been stated that PTI workers are being harassed by the opponent party PMLN and one of their local body candidate Ch. Ghaffar has also been murdered. Besides this, firing incidents on PTI MPA Mian Aslam Iqbal’s home and Dera have been reported and the situation is critical in constituency amidst by poll.
Abdul Aleem Khan has also alleged that ruling party PMLN won the elections by using government resources in 2013 and now they can ruin law and order situation deeming a possible defeat.
More0ver, the Returning Officer (RO) has accepted the application and after consideration the matter would be forwarded to Election Commission that reserves the authority to make final decision over this issue.
