Rachel Khan follows Meera’s tactics

It is always said that bad publicity is the worst. In the near past, model Rachel Khan got fame because of the news with cricketer Umar Akmal allegedly ‘harassing’ her and that came to the fore.  The furor has died down after some time and Rachel is now going to make her film debut and pace into the mainstream.

The model who becomes the actress is of the view that Pakistan did not produce any movie heroines later than Meera. She stated her confidence as “I am confident that I will one day achieve what she has achieved,”

The shooting of the upcoming film Kabeer is previously completed and the film is at present in post-production. An RN Films production, the film includes stars like Ali Khan, Shamil Khan, and different other newcomers. Singer Asrar has sung two songs for its soundtrack that has mostly been arranged in India. She further added “It is every model’s dream to become a film star,” Rachel also disclosed that work on the movie was in progress for a year and most of the shooting has been completed in the charming northern areas of the country. She said, “I had an offer from India as well but I chose Kabeer because it has a wonderful script.”

Rachel continued by saying that there is a dearth of new actors in the industry. She was of the view that “In the past, there were directors known for introducing new heroines in the industry. Unfortunately, that is no more the case,”

The young and beautiful actress and producer were of the view that politics and art should be kept separate and that Indian movies must be permitted in Pakistani cinemas. She told that “We do love our country but we should not forget the ground realities of our industry.”
