ISLAMABAD: Rain-thunderstorm is expected in different places of KP, Punjab and northwestern upper parts with chances of light rain in Sindh and Balochistan during next 24 hours.
Heat low lies over northeast-Balochistan and its adjoining area. Weak monsoon currents are penetrating upper and central parts of the country. A Shallow westerly wave is also affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 to 48 hours. Rain-thunderstorm is expected at scattered places of upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha divisions), Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, divisions), Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir, while at isolated places of Multan, Sahiwal, D.I. Khan, Bannu, Zhob divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Light rain is also expected along Sindh-Makran coast. Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in other parts of the country.
