Saba wraps up her Bollywood debut with Irfan4,833 views
Pakistan’s leading model and actress Saba Qamar now comes back to Lahore. The Maat actress has spent her summer in Delhi, while shooting for her upcoming Bollywood debut movie, titled Saket Chaudhry’s Hindi Medium. During the whole scenario where the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) brayed for the departure of Pakistani artists from India, Saba was calmly working on her movie with Irrfan Khan in the Indian capital.
The star of Besharam states that her experience wasn’t affected by MNS’ antagonism towards Pakistan.
The 32-year-old actress told that “The team made me feels very safe. We often hung out with each other and they made me feel very much at home. There was no unease at all; I was well looked after,”
The plot of her movie Hindi Medium shows the lives of a middle-class couple settled in Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Saba performs Irrfan’s striking and bubbly wife.
Saba explains about the co-star “I was fascinated by the way Irrfan works; I used to keep appearing at him while he delivered his scenes. He is one brilliant actor and a pleasure to work with,”
She further continues that “Bollywood is a totally novel ballgame. They [the team] were so much warm and professional. I had a wonderful experience working with all of them.”
She restrains from commenting on the ongoing Pak-India conflict and just states that she anticipates for peace amid both nations.
Saba Qamar is also going to work with her Besharam co-star Zahid Ahmed. She is now back and prepared to set the ‘Hum Jazz Style Awards’ stage on the blaze with her thrilling dance performance beside her Besharamco-star, Zahid Ahmed.
She further adds that “I have been performing at the ‘Hum Awards’ previously as well, so I’m looking forward to what they have in store with their newest initiative,”
Saba’s second Pakistani movie, Lahore Se Aagey is going to release on 4 November.
