Same Sex Marriages: Pakistanis fight on social media in reaction92 views
PAKISTAN: Same sex marriages have been legalized in the United States a couple of days ago and the gay pride parades observed in many countries of Europe and North America, but since then Pakistanis are reacting or you may say over-reacting on this issue and turned social media platforms into battle field.
Though the decision has nothing to do with Pakistani people and their state of affairs, yet they think its their duty to comment or advocate their point of view to become champions.
Majority of the youth and few popular figures shown their reaction on facebook including hearthrob of many Hamza Ali Abbasi who bashed this decision and later on criticized and trolled by people having difference of opinion with him.
WOW…I am surprised by the level of criticism, curse words and insults i have recieved from the same “liberal” people…
Even Hamza Ali Abbasi’s post against Same Sex marriages irked many who support this decision, and that is why he is still trending on twitter.
People from liberal school of thought supported the decision and they also openly expressed their thoughts.
Bigots hating on marriage eq saying things like “u were born bec ur parents were straight.” Appalling how such ppl exist in the 21st century
