DUBAI: Pakistan will be eyeing to clinch the Twenty20 series against West Indies as the second game of the three-match series will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday night.
Pakistan defeated West Indies by nine wickets in the first T20 thanks to a five-wicket haul by Imad Wasim and an unbeaten half century by Babar Azam.
West Indies skipper Carlos Brathwaite, commenting on his loss, said that his side didn’t assess the match situation and conditions quickly enough.
Pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmed added that his side knew how the pitch will behave and the spinners got help from the grass on the track.
They lead the three-match series 1-0. The second match will start at 09.00 pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST).
The green shirts may not be making any changes to their playing XI whereas the current T20 champions are likely to make few changes to their side in today’s match.
The Caribbean side has to win if they are to remain alive in the series.
Pakistan has not yet lost a Twenty20 game since wicket keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed leading the team in the shortest format of the game.
