Shakira is coming to Lahore976 views
Shakira is not coming to Pakistan; yes if you have already paid for a ticket then it is a bad news for you.
A Facebook event page that is advertising and selling tickets to the fictional concert in Lahore has asserted that “The first time ever in the history of Pakistan, Shakira is coming for a live concert to Lahore, Pakistan,”
Wahaj, the person on the back the occasion of the event management company ‘BizBash’, is selling tickets for Rs6,000, Rs10,000, Rs15,000 and Rs20,000.
Wahaj stated in an interview that ‘BizBash’ has been in the business since 2009. They assert that they have hosted many concerts including Atif Aslam, Farhan Saeed, Ali Zafar, Ali Sethi and a lot of others.
Though, their Facebook page does not supported these assertions, as it looks to have been made below two weeks before and has no earlier movement. It was inquired regarding it but Wahaj stated that “Our last page got deleted so we had to make this.”
Some calls to superstar managers further disgraces Wahaj’s assertions. Atif Aslam’s brother and manager Sheraz Aslam stated that “I have been in the industry for 15 years and have never heard of ‘BizBash’ events.”
Ali Zafar’s manager, Taha Sadaqat, further added that “We have had no relations with this event management company.”
Mockingly Wahaj stated that “People who have come to our previous events trust us and that’s why our tickets are selling.”
It is very difficult to bring the Waka Waka singer to Pakistan for the concert but it was inquired that how ‘BizBash’ handled this and Wahaj replied as. “This is our personal information.” He looks confident that the occasion will happen devoid of any obstacles, “We’ve gotten all documents except for one. The District Chairman of Lahore’s son is with us, the FBR chairman’s son is with us and our high level contacts will allow us to pull this off.”
Alhamra Cultural Complex will be the location for the occasion, he stated. But Atta Muhammad Khan, the executive director at Alhamra Cultural Complex, didn’t know regarding the event.
Recently Arjit Singh’s concert was in waves in Islamabad which turned out to be a joke.
Shakira’s concert, similar to Arjit’s is the most recent entry in the mysterious bigger Facebook fad of false concerts.
One should take note on these bogus announces on Facebook.
