Should India sue Nestle? YES, do it!


I have a huge bias in this topic and that’s for one reason, I hate Maggi noodles. I just never liked them. The taste was never appealing and packaging and advertising seemed very off-putting to me. But I guess the Indian government perhaps has the same view as me because India is now planning to sue Nestle (the owner of Maggi noodles) for what they say is

“Our complaint is over their unfair trade practices and the court will now issue them notices to hear their response,” G Gurcharan, additional secretary at the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, told sources. “

and they filed a law suit with the country’s top consumer court, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), for 6,400 million rupees ($98.6m) in damages .  

Nestle India’s twitter account was franticly posting tweets to defend themselves,



It just seems like Nestle does not want to give up! They kept on with the tweets.
