Sidharth remains humble as ever



Sidharth Malhotra, who came into spotlight after giving Bollywood hit Student of the year in 2012 with his good looks, garnered with a loyal female fan following across the world. After that he gave films like Hasee Toh Phasee, Ek Villain, Brother sand the very latest, Kapoor & Sons. But, Sidharth is still humble as ever, stating that he is just making efforts to make his space in Bollywood.

According to Sidharth, work speaks about his talent and passion, “Our films speak for ourselves and what we have to offer. But having said that, there are so many things I want to do and can explore. Somethings that will be very different from what I am doing right now,” Sidharth was telling it in an interview at the latest Lakme Fashion Week. He further stated that “I am just trying to make my space and stand up in Bollywood. I am still in the process of understanding what all I can do with my profession in terms of acting, and where I can push myself. There is a lot more to come,”

A debut with a gigantic venture is not an easy one as his first project was directed by Karan Johar and the ex-model, Sidharth had worked very hard before his big break. Actually, the 31-year-old feels that modeling days have been a huge learning experience for him. “I have fond memories of making my pocket money from photo shoots and fashion shows in Delhi. I cherish those moments and all the fun I had during my modeling days,” stated Sidharth, who showcased the outfit of designer Kunal Rawal on ram at the chic gala.

The latest hit, Kapoor & Sons, is a contribution to Sidharth career. He shared that “The film has added a lot of success to my career. I think this is the maximum stuff that I have got so far,” he further added that “Hats off to the director Shakun Batra, he is the real hero. From start to finish, the film is complete. It is not dependent on one character, one part, one actor, a first half or the second half. It’s a complete film. If everybody could relate to it and connect with the story, I think that’s all we can ask for the film and we got it,”

Sidharth impressed all the people present at the fashion week with his confident and crafted catwalk all through Rawal’s gig. It was inquired regarding his personal style statement and Sidharth’s reply was that he always takes care of his choice of clothes whenever he goes out. He continued, “I am in an industry where you don’t have to try too hard. I used to try a lot in college but now it is less.”
