Snowfall Hampers Rescue Of Tourists In Naran & Kaghan Valleys.


PESHAWAR : At least 50 visitors trapped in snow-covered tourist spots of Naran and Kaghan valleys have been rescued by army, as hundreds more remained stranded amid heavy snowfall in the north western areas.

According to ISPR, Barwai-Batakundi road have been rescued by personnel of Frontier Works Organization (FWO).

The FWO personnel have also cleared route from Bhatta Kunddi to Naran and one-way route of Naran-Kaghan road.

Reports said FWO dozers are clearing snow from roads inside Naran city where hundreds of tourists are still stranded as snowfall continued in the area.
